IT Service Portfolio

In IT Service Portfolio page, you can see details about various services, their governance, their association with organization units, service maturity model details, various associated technology details and their assessment information.

In this page, you can select multiple services and view/export below data for selected services –

The page is organized into three sections or panels.

First Panel/Section is navigation panel where you can select multiple services and view their details.

This panel is divided into two further sub-sections.

• IT Service (Collection view)/Scope filters
  • In this sub-section, Services are displayed as collection view. This collection is based on Categories, Domains and Clusters.
  • Based on Category selected, we load Services grouped by domains and clusters in a tree-view. You can change category to load services of that category.
  • You have ability to filter selected services (from Collection view/List view) by selecting their attributes. In scope refiner filters, we load all available attributes for services. You can consider only those services having any specific attributes by selecting those attributes.
• IT Service (List view)
  • In this sub-section, we simply load all services and you can select one or more from the list.
  • You can search any specific service in ‘Search IT Services’ textbox.
  • If you select any service from this list, it will automatically un-select services selected in collection view/tree-view. Same as, if you select services in tree-view, it will un-select services from list view if any selected.

Second Panel/section is Information panel, where we load several types of information items for services that you can see in third panel by selecting these items. These items are displayed in various groups in this panel.

You can select a single item at a time to see selected information in third panel. This list is configured by system. You may not able to see one or more if you don’t have access to see them.

Third Panel/section is Information details panel, where you load selected information from second panel as data grid.

Note: Based on the configuration and permissions, you may not see all the information domains.

Purpose : Displays all primarily details of selected services. Details include, their Domain, Cluster, Category, their attributes and others.

Customization Options :

• By using column chooser, you can view more columns those are not visible by default.
• You can export grid data by Export data icon displayed on top of the grid.

Standard (default) Options :

• You can view more information for any service by clicking on any service name from grid. It will redirect to service page.

Purpose : Displays governance details of selected services. You can see current and next governance and change date.

Customization Options :

• In Governance columns, cell color is based on governance color for that service.
• By using column chooser, you can view more columns those are not visible by default.
• You can export grid data by Export data icon displayed on top of the grid.

Standard (default) Options :

• You can view more information for any service by clicking on any service name from grid. It will redirect to service page.

Purpose : Displays selected services and Organization Units association information

Customization Options :

• In the grid, by default the data is displayed as pivoted view in which Organization Units will be as columns having category and description information for each association with capability sets.
• You can change the view to Normal view by clicking on Change View icon in grid. It will display flat association data.
• You can see more columns using Column chooser option where you can choose more columns those are not visible by default.
• You can search, filter, sort through the grid data.

Standard (default) Options :

• Default view to display grid data is pivoted view. You can change the view from grid option.
• You can export data as excel file by clicking Export option on top the grid.
• You can view more information for any service by clicking on any service name from grid. It will redirect to service page.

Purpose : Displays maturity Summary (Maturity score) for selected services.

Customization Options :

• By default, among all available snapshots, it displays data for Current, Next and Previous snapshots. You can choose more by selecting ‘Choose Columns’ icon displayed on header of the grid.
• By clicking that icon, it will display a popup containing list of all available snapshots.
• You have searching, filtering options available in the grid.

Standard (default) Options :

• Displays data for current, next and previous snapshots on initial load.
• You can view more information for any service by clicking on any service name from grid. It will redirect to service page.
• For snapshot columns, Color of cell is dependent on score (measure scale) displayed in cell

Purpose : Displays governance information of technologies associated with selected services

Customization Options :

• In Governance columns, cell color is based on governance color for technologies associated with services.
• By using column chooser, you can view more columns those are not visible by default.
• You can export grid data by Export data icon displayed on top of the grid.
• You have searching, filtering options available in the grid.

• You can view more information for any service by clicking on any service name from grid. It will redirect to service page.
• You can view any associated technology detail by clicking on that technology name from grid. It will redirect to technology page.

Purpose : Displays life cycle information of technologies associated with selected services

Customization Options :

• In Current and next columns, we display life cycles of technologies/versions having life cycle color as background-color of cells.
• By using column chooser, you can view more columns those are not visible by default.
• You can export grid data by Export data icon displayed on top of the grid.
• You have searching, filtering options available in the grid.

Standard (default) Options :

• You can view more information for any service by clicking on any service name from grid. It will redirect to service page.
• You can view any associated technology detail by clicking on that technology name from grid. It will redirect to technology page.

Purpose : Displays licenses information for technologies associated with selected services. Information includes, license type, renewal date, effective date and other.

Customization Options :

• By using column chooser, you can view more columns those are not visible by default.
• You can export grid data by Export data icon displayed on top of the grid.
• You have searching, filtering options available in the grid.

Standard (default) Options :

• You can view more information for any service by clicking on any service name from grid. It will redirect to service page.
• You can view any associated technology detail by clicking on that technology name from grid. It will redirect to technology page.

Purpose : Displays life cycle information of technologies/versions associated with selected services as roadmap layout and data displayed quarterly for each year.

Customization Options : Color of cells displaying quarter information is based on life cycle of technologies/versions.

Purpose : Displays Organization Units and associated technologies association information

Customization Options :

• In the grid, by default the data is displayed as pivoted view in which Organization Units will be as columns having category and description information for each association with capability sets.

• By clicking that icon, it will display a popup containing list of all available snapshots.
• You can search, filter, sort, group through the data using grid features.

• For snapshot columns, Color of cell is dependent on score (measure scale) displayed in cell
• You can view more information for any services by clicking on any service name from grid. It will redirect to service page.
• You can export grid data by export button displayed on top of the grid.

Q: Why it is showing ‘No Data’ in scope refiner?

A: we are showing attributes defined for services in this section. If there are no attributes defined that this list will be empty.

Q: All information items described in this document is not displayed, why?

A: There can be two reasons. One, these items are not accessible to you. OR it can be set hidden by your administrator.

• Heat map - a color-coded map of items, organized into an hierarchy
