Asset Portfolio Page

Purpose

In Asset Portfolio page, you can see details about various Assets, their age information, details of life cycle of associated technologies, various asset instances and their associations. In this page, you can select multiple assets and view/export below data for selected assets – Asset Age Assets with technology life cycle Instances Associations

Layout & Navigation

The page is organized into three sections or panels.

First Panel/Section is navigation panel where you can select multiple assets and view their details.

This panel is divided into two further sub-sections.

Information section

Second Panel/section is Information panel, where we load several types of information items for assets that you can see in third panel by selecting these items. These items are displayed in various groups in this panel. You can select a single item at a time to see selected information in third panel. This list is configured by system. You may not able to see one or more if you don’t have access to see them.

Information Details section

Third Panel/section is Information details panel, where you load selected information from second panel as data grid. Each information item/Activity is explained below.

Asset Age Displays age information of selected assets. Information includes, Current and Remaining Age, Acquisition Date and other asset attributes
  • By using column chooser, you can view more columns those are not visible by default.
  • You can export grid data by Export data icon displayed on top of the grid.
  • You can view more information for any asset by clicking on any asset name from grid. It will redirect to asset page.
Assets with Technology Life Cycle Displays life cycle information of technologies associated with selected assets. Information includes, associated technologies, life cycle type, current/next life cycle, etc.
  • Cell color of Current and Next life cycle is based on life cycle color.
  • By using column chooser, you can view more columns those are not visible by default.
  • You can export grid data by Export data icon displayed on top of the grid.
  • You can view more information for any asset by clicking on any asset name from grid. It will redirect to asset page.
  • You can view more information for any associated technology by clicking on any technology name from grid. It will redirect to technology page.
Instances Displays all instances and their information of selected assets. These includes, associated instances with their code details.
  • By using column chooser, you can view more columns those are not visible by default.
  • You can export grid data by Export data icon displayed on top of the grid.
  • You can view more information for any asset by clicking on any asset name from grid. It will redirect to asset page.
  • You can view more information of any associated objects by clicking on object names from grid. It will redirect to their appropriate pages.
Associations Displays association information of various objects with selected assets. Information includes, associated objects with assets/instances, status and its date and other.
  • By default, grid data is grouped by associated object types. You can change the grouping.
  • By using column chooser, you can view more columns those are not visible by default.
  • You can export grid data by Export data icon displayed on top of the grid.
  • You can view more information for any asset by clicking on any asset name from grid. It will redirect to asset page.
  • You can view more information of any associated objects by clicking on object names from grid. It will redirect to their appropriate pages.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why it is showing ‘No Data’ in scope refiner?

A: we are showing attributes defined for assets in this section. If there are no attributes defined that this list will be empty.

Q: All information items described in this document is not displayed, why?

A: There can be two reasons. One, these items are not accessible to you. OR it can be set hidden by your administrator.

Q: What is navigation method for assets?

A: Navigation methods are different ways to list and locate assets. You can group assets by selected navigation method. For example, if you want to see details of any asset having any particular status then you can select Status as navigation method and it will group assets by their status.
